08 - How Houses "Work" with Mark Rosen

In this episode, Casey interviews architect and green building consultant, Mark Rosen, owner of Building Energy Inc. and co-owner of a new startup company.

Born and raised in Canmore, Alberta, Mark moved to Ottawa to pursue his studies in architecture before working for his father in law as an energy advisor. He met his wife Megan while studying and not long after attaining jobs in their fields, they decided to stop what they were doing and travel the world. Mark shares how their travels inspired the design of their current Passive House, provides fresh insights on how homes should "work", shares his thoughts on where the construction industry is headed and much more.
